When Odd things Becomes the New Norm

Before I start my usual barrage of rants, I just want to say “I’m back”… My last post was months ago and it has been somewhat busy, “NOT”. Anyway, before I make any kind of post, I wish to share a moment of thought on the new norms. Simply put, things I found odd when I was a wee lad now have in general terms “The New Norm”. Before you start nodding in agreement “somewhat”, it is not about the new liberal culture that has been flying about, no, its not it, it is not even war or rumors of it as one would call it, its not even the comatose state of old moral values being out-staged by the new social values that the traditional conservatives are so shock about, its not even social media. It is however of all things about The weather….. and I kid you not.

Once upon a time the common phrase “nice weather we’re having today” is widely use to break the ice of awkwardness. And I’m guilty as charge back in a day, that and “have you seen that movie” are among the myriad of alibi I manage to conjure up.

Gone are the days when a man thinks to use the topic of weather when such occasions calls for it, like running out of ideas when he approaches a young uninterested maiden that catches his undivided attention. very unromantic, I wonder if people still use that nowadays. Today however when the man say wither the weather is good or bad its a topic of real concern. Heck even smartphones have weather apps.

But what am I getting at?

I’m sure everyone in the entire planet sense it, the “sudden change in the weather pattern” and something else, a sense of something coming and its not porn or it may just be probably me. Anyway, back to the weather story, supposedly its summer, on top of that its actually lent season it shouldn’t rain let alone a low pressure weather disturbance.

Right?

Apparently it did though it was not a mega storm that hit the country years back. It did however spectacularly flooded many places in a time where there shouldn’t be any. On the other hand summer days in this country is extreme one. I can even cook an egg just by putting it outdoors on a paper plate and I kid thee not.

Where am I getting at?

Like that somewhat moment when one discuss the ever useful “Nice weather alibi” this post is like that somewhat. So basically its all about “NOTHING”. Like nothing but a simple rant about odd weather patter the world is experiencing. Sadly we all just need to suck it up as none of us can actually leave this rock.
